Chelsea’s House, established in 2011, is a community of people who are transitioning from treatment into living life clean in the real world. We pride ourselves on being a “judgment free” community. Men and women in recovery from substance abuse fall within the scope of the term “disabled”. The purpose of a sober living home is to help recovering addicts work on sobriety. During this time, you can find full-time work, take advantage of courses or skills training, community involvement, or go back to school. Sober living communities are paid programs, that are typically set up for just men or only women. When you are living at any sober living home, you will have to take part in regular meetings or individual counseling.

The triple decker has been converted from 3 individual apartments to one safe and sober community. Complimentary cable and internet provided with free laundry available on site. Drug testing performed randomly by a live-in house manager. Seasonal offerings like rowing, kayaking, and sailing, along with tradition holistic pursuits, like massage, Reiki, Tai-Chi, Qigong and meditation are all designed to bring joy back into a person’s life. Their dedication and compassion combine to provide a unique approach that separates them from other drug and alcohol treatment centers.

In addition to on-site sober houses in boston, we offer residents comprehensive case management which may include housing assistance and referral to professional counseling, vocational rehabilitation, education and literacy programs. We also encourage each program participant to develop an ongoing recovery support system in your community. The staff in our recovery houses offer support to residents, in an environment where residents also support each other.
